We want to acknowledge the tragic accident that occurred on Saturday, May 30, on the oceanfront rocks.

Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the fisherman who lost his life, as well as everyone affected by this sad event.

The oceanfront is one of the most beautiful parts of Punta Piedra, but the rocks can be extremely dangerous, especially when surf conditions change quickly. Security staff has repeatedly warned fishermen and other visitors to stay away from unsafe shoreline areas. We ask all owners, guests, and visitors to respect those warnings and use extreme caution near the rocks, particularly during rough surf.
